What is the Game Tender™?
The Game Tender™ is a patented, hand-held device that enables sportsman to utilize electrical stimulation to process their game. The Game Tender™ makes game more tender, enhances flavor, and improves the wild game eating experience.

Why do I need the Game Tender™?
A common complaint among hunters and their family is that wild game is tough. The primary cause for this complaint is an irreversible contraction of the muscle tissue called cold shortening. When glycogen in muscle tissue is not metabolized completely meat toughness is significantly increased. Game animals are particularly susceptible to cold shortening since they are very active and often chased prior to harvest. If cold shortening is eliminated, meat will be more tender and better able to retain water, vitamins and minerals.

How does the Game Tender™ work?
The Game Tender™ induces repeated contraction and relaxation of muscle tissue through electrical stimulation, which burns off remaining glycogen in muscle tissue. This is the only proven method to avoid cold shortening, and also causes a rapid reduction of muscle pH. The results are increased tenderness and enhanced natural ageing and flavor.

When do I use the Game Tender™?
The Game Tender™ is most effective immediately post harvest. To get the maximum impact of the Game Tender™, it should be used within 15 minutes of the animal expiring.

NOTE: Do not push wild game! Be sure that recovery is imminent before attempting to recover your game.
